Upcoming Excellence Canada Events in Western Canada

Canadian Mental Health Association National Bottom Line Conference 2013
February 27-28, 2013 Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver BC

Now in its 10th year, the National Bottom Line Conference is a collaborative initiative of a volunteer steering committee of concerned leaders from business, unions, government and non-profits and staff from the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division (CMHA). The conference creates awareness of the importance of psychologically healthy workplaces and finds strategies and solutions that benefit both employers and employees. It enables business leaders, union leaders, managers and health professionals to share knowledge, dialogue, resources,  and best practices that result in workplace action.

Excellence Canada is a Colleague Sponsor and exhibitor. Two Founding Partners of Excellence Canada - Great-West Life and WorkSafeBC are major sponsors of this event. The event's Twitter hashtag is #BottomLine2013 .

Future networking meetings Western Canada 2013 & Event Archives

We are working on our 2013 regional networking meeting schedule for 2013 and are planning to hold events in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Contact glenda@excellence.ca if you are interested in hosting a regional event. Information from past networking meetings can be found in the Partners Resource Centre including the November 19 2012 Saskatchewan networking meeting hosted by Information Services Corporation.

Vivienne Welters, Executive Director for Western Canada is retiring on February 28 and we will welcome Karen Ayres as the new Executive Director for BC and Yukon Territories on March 1. Viv and Karen are at the Bottom Line Conference this week. We will also be announcing a new Executive Director for Alberta and Saskatchewan in April. Watch for updates about this and other regional news.
